Job Description
For an important international Internet company we are searching
some young meteorology experts/amateurs, to provide a qualified,
high quality translation service of weather forecast for european
countries.
We are searching two
translators for each of the following countries:
- Switzerland
(german)
- Austria
- Belgium (Flemish
included)
- Spain
- United Kingdom
- The Netherlands
- Germany
- Denmark
- Sweden
- Norway
- Czech Republic
- Finland
The forecasts will be
prepared daily by an italian meteorological center, and
distributed via email to all the local responsibles in two languages,
italian and english.
Every responsible
will receive his forecast daily, he will translate it and he will send
it back in time with fixed deadlines.
This service must be
active 7 days a week, 365 days a year, covering holidays
and week-ends. For this reason, we are looking for two person
for each country, so to set up a turnover that provide translations
for all days including holidays and illness periods.
Major skills
- General
meteorology knowledge
- Mother-tongue
knowledge of one of the previous listed countries
- To be resident in
the country related with the selected language
- Good knowlegde of
Italian is strongly welcome
- Good
knowledge of English
- Good practice with
computers, Internet and email
- Strong interest
towards weather forecasts
- Good knowledge of
geography of his country
Salary
About 15 euro for each daily translation
