Description  During an heavy precipitations event, the glacial stream deepened its bed of 20-30 m, cutting the steep cone in front of the glacier snout.
Effects:  An important debris flow (about 300.000 m3) invaded the plain of Grand'Alpe.

Description  An ice fall from the snout of the glacier caused a big avalanche.
Effects:  The avalanche destroyed Grand'Alpe hamlet (18 huts).

Note  The village was uninhabitated during the early spring, so no victims were reported. Due to high avalanche risk, nobody reached this place until April 3rd. The village was rebuilt before summer 1914.
