| Description |
In the afternoon, 80.000-100.000 m3 of ice detached from the right tongue of Salarno glacier. The avalanche run on the glacier, and a great part of ice deposed out of glacier, stopping close to moraine of 1921. |

Salarno glacier is diffluent from "Pian di Neve" (Adamello glacier) toward South-West. Its snout is at about 2600 m of altitude; its surface was 0.37 km2 in 1960. |
