a water pocket would has emptied in the proglacial lake of the Nantillons. The sudden coming of a big quantity of water in the lake has provoked the failure of the morainic dam, and the emptying of the lake |

downstream, as in 1934, the cellars of Chamonix have been flooded, and the railway of the Montenvers has been covered by blocks and mud over 150 m |
