Type:  Glacier flood (contain both lakes and water pocket)
Description  a water pocket would has emptied in the proglacial lake of the Nantillons. The sudden coming of a big quantity of water in the lake has provoked the failure of the morainic dam, and the emptying of the lake
Effects:  downstream, as in 1934, the cellars of Chamonix have been flooded, and the railway of the Montenvers has been covered by blocks and mud over 150 m

Description  at 2 pm, many serac took of from the glacier, at 3.200 m of altitude, and have followed the corridor of the Grepon until 1.100 m of altitude. It has formed a cone of 52.000 m3

Effects:  a house of the village of La Frasse, at only 80 m from the major party of village, has been destructed, and one person is dead. A such phenomenon didn’t happen since 1849
